I've moved back to China and as a welcome back gift, a giant Jackfruit was given to me by a masus friend. Because it was so hot in szchuan the last few days I had to start munching into the monster. I got a whole bowl of the squashy bit out of it's complicated shell and structures. For an hour I sat there and deseeding the thing, it's such a rich fruit, I made some smoothie with it.
Later on I was just writing and found an extremely sticky part on my hand and I realised it was the dried jackfruit on my skin. It was like a gum stuck onto my hand, and the spoons I used earlier had formed a glue-dried-like hard exterior. It made me think whether I could make the rest of it into a gum gel/ a glue.
